Chitika here, Chitika there, everywhere Chitika.
Looks like Chitika is going through some growing pains. They’ve had to update their eMiniMalls units to filter out “curiosity clicks”, which is the same as we AdSense users call it “click fraud”. People started to report a strong drop in Chitika earnings since update of eMiniMalls. Will this cause the beginning of Chitika breakdown?

Chitika eMiniMalls Secrets ebook
November 16th, 2005 at 10:51 am
Chitika eMiniMalls Secrets is a new ebook by Joel Comm. Last week I told you about my site Geeky Corner and that it is going to be featured as a case study in Joel’s new ebook. But it isn’t. Geeky Corner was left out because Joel needed some space for my other blog, World Cup Corner.
From the Chitika eMiniMalls Secrets ebook:
Case Study 2: Small But Unmissable
WorldCupCorner.com is a blog about soccer. On this site though one ad has been placed not inside the text column so that it seems to be part of the text but in the top right corner in the navigation column.
That’s another excellent place to put the ads.
It’s unmissable, the graphic holds the eye and because it’s right on topic that ad is going to get plenty of attention.

Google Analytics

Good-by SiteMeter, welcome Google Analytics.
Google Analytics tells you everything you want to know about how your visitors found you and how they interact with your site. You’ll be able to focus your marketing resources on campaigns and initiatives that deliver ROI, and improve your site to convert more visitors.
Google bought Urchin in March this year and has re-branded it’s Urchin Analytics, which previously costed $199 per month, as Google Analytics - free of charge.

It’s St. Martin’s wine feast day/weekend. For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about: St. Martin was Europe’s first great wine making monk.
