The Web Big Challenge

Search engine marketing consultant, Umbert and search engine marketing expert Louis, challenged one another to a pixel selling duel - The Web Big Challenge. They think there is still possibility to make pixel business after the end of The Million Dollar Homepage.

The Web Big Challenge is a good copycat of The Million Dollar Homepage with some unique features. The price of each block is decided by the two challengers and it will be modified during the challenge, it’s up to advertisers to choose the right moment to buy a web space saving money.

SEO Book by Aaron Wall

I’ve finally finished reading Aaron Wall’s SEO Book which has been on my reading list for a very long time. I loved it and I would recommend it to anyone involved in Search engine optimization and marketing.

Getting Rich Online

According to washingtonpost.com there is a new model for getting rich online: Earn pennies at a time in exchange for allowing Google or Yahoo to place advertisements on a personal or small-business Web page.

Andrew Leyden of PodcastDirectory.com receives nearly a million hits and makes around $30,000 to $40,000 per year:

I went from literally 26 cents a week or something like that to several dollars an hour by using Google’s AdSense software. I get paid while mowing the lawn. I get paid while cleaning the garage. I get paid driving my wife to her office, buying groceries, seeing a movie, playing video games, or just surfing the Internet. That’s really the nice thing about AdSense: No matter what I’m doing, people keep clicking and I keep getting paid.
