Britney Spears v Angelina Jolie

In honor of Elliott and Duncan, I’m going to join the same experiment as they are doing.
Last year Elliott put up a post in relation to Britney Spears to see how will affect on his blog traffic. Since that day he is number one on Blogs of the Day. A few days ago Duncan followed him with his post about Britney Spears to experiment with his traffic. In a week or two he will post publicly the results of the experiment.
Why Britney Spears? According to Google the number one search for all of 2004 was “britney spears”.
And now, here is my question. Who do you think can boost traffic to My Money Blog, Britney Spears or Angelina Jolie?

I don’t think that I care enough about my google traffic to write a post about either of them. I suppose if one of them does something spectacularly athletically inclined I might consider it, but would probably pass anyway.

Actually, there’s something that neither of you two know, I think, which is that the traffic is not because of the text content, but rather the image content and the surrounding context. Check out this SERP:

Blaine, you have to care about SE traffic but not in this way like we are doing because Britney Spears and Angelina Jolie don’t belong on My Money Blog and other similar sites. But all after all it’s just an experiment.
I’m not going to continue with this kind of posting.

I realize it is just an experiment and not a regular thing, and it even fits in with what you are trying to accomplish with this blog. I was just saying, I can not picture doing the same on my website.

Should make for an interesting experiment - I would have thought there would be a lot of competition for the top SERP positions for both of them, so it might not be all that easy to get search engine traffic, but we’ll see.
