Britney Spears v Angelina Jolie
September 26th, 2005 at 8:22 am
In honor of Elliott and Duncan, I’m going to join the same experiment as they are doing.
Last year Elliott put up a post in relation to Britney Spears to see how will affect on his blog traffic. Since that day he is number one on Blogs of the Day. A few days ago Duncan followed him with his post about Britney Spears to experiment with his traffic. In a week or two he will post publicly the results of the experiment.
Why Britney Spears? According to Google the number one search for all of 2004 was “britney spears”.

My blog crush
September 15th, 2005 at 10:58 am

This post is not about money, it’s about love. Actually it’s about sharing love to other bloggers.
Darren Rowse (ProBlogger.net) has a blog crush. He is encouraging bloggers to write about their favorite blogger and why do they have a crush on him/her. He doesn’t mean an actual crush but a blog or blogger out there that you really admire.
I would have to say that right now, I have a crush on two blogs. Every morning my must read blogs are (not hard to guess):
Darren and Duncan are always sharing some good tips and news stories. It seems like that they are the first to know about the blogging medium.

Make FeedBurner work for you
August 15th, 2005 at 8:30 am
Syndication feeds are very useful, and when it comes to statistics and tracking your RSS/Atom feeds, there is no better tool than Feedburner.
It’s amazing how simple it is to start using this feed conversion service. All you have to do is sign up with their free account and tell them where your feed is. From there, you will get many different tools and services you can use with your RSS/Atom feed, as long as you use FeedBurner to burn your feed.
Three main futures which you will get using FeedBurner are: Stats, Browser-Friendly Burner and SmartFeed™.
Stats
The most used FeedBurner future are stats collected on your feeds. They measure the general traffic level for your feed. They measure circulation or how many subscribers do you have, which news aggregators people use and what feed items subscribers most often “clickthrough” to read on your site.
