Chitika’s eMiniMalls ad program

The past couple of weeks everyone has been talking about Chitika’s eMiniMalls ad program. eMiniMalls are contextual ads and are delivered in a very unique way through a javascript-based code, similar to AdSense.
This program can be run in conjunction with AdSense & YPN if you disable the contextual aspect of it, and use keywords only:
ch_non_contextual = 1;
ch_query = “keyword01 keyword02″;
Like many others I’m very satisfied with eMiniMals running them on one of my other blogs (not known to my readers at the moment).
Just take a look how their ad units work. Here is an iPod ad:
This ad should show a digital camera ad:
This one should be a laptop ad:

I don’t see your sample ads on here…not that I need to, since I am already signed up, but I figured I would let you know. I checked it in Thunderbird, FireFox, and IE.

Now you should see them. I have to use iframe because WP has some problems with JS in content of a post.

Yep, they show up now.

I’m seeing a slight error in how they render (across all sites, not just yours). I’m using Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 on Win Xp, so it might be that.

Just a minor problem though, they seem to be generally pretty effective, especially for product related sites.

I am taking a big chance here everyone and jumping on the Chitika bandwagon. And in a big way.
After coming out of the highest Adsense earning month for one of my websites I have decided to give Chitika a try for one month. Over the weekend I removed all Google adsense from my site www.usedmac.ca and replaced the ads with Chitika ads only.
Let’s see if the gamble pays off.
