QuickLinks: December 2, 2005

Another sad week for me. It looks like World Cup Corner is trapped into Google sandbox and I can’t do nothing about it. What bothers me even more is that before last update, World Cup Corner was receiving a good amount of visitors from Google although it was PR0. After last Google update the site jumped to PR4 but all visitors from Google disappeared. Strange, isn’t it?
Here are this weeks QuickLinks:

- Why Adsense Firefox ads pay garbage

- Using your AdSense & YPN filter lists with caution

Enjoy the weekend!

What matters more is where your page is ranked in the search results. PageRank by itself doesn’t mean anything, it’s only one factor that affects where your pages rank. On the whole, it’s better to have a higher PR, yes, but it’s not enough to get you traffic by itself.

I know. Before the update there were keywords and search terms for which I was in the top 5 results on Google. Now, they are all gone.
